make it monday: framed weekly calender

You may remember this sneak peek I gave you least week:

Well, I added some ribbon and paper...

And made this weekly calendar:

I'll be honest, I'm not crazy about the ribbon the paper hang on, so I'm going to replace it with twine. It will look much better. I also can't decide what to write on the top. "Our Week" perhaps. We often have busy weeks, and I'm visual, so I like to see our week all laid out.

Wanna make one? It's easy, here's what I did:

1. Paint frame. I painted about 4 coats to cover the dark wood. The frame was given to me from someone moving out and not wanting it anymore. Win!

2. Cut decorative papers (mine are 3 1/4" x 11) to desired size. I just cut a few and played around with what size I wanted them. Make sure to use either decorative cardstock or glue paper onto cardstock. The write-on papers I just cut printer paper in 2 3/4" strips. Easy stuff!

3. Use pushpins to hang ribbon/twine/etc.

4. Use binder clips to hang papers!

Voila! A framed weekly calender ready for planning!
