I had planned on resuming blogging the start of the new year. Well here we are a week into 2012 and still no new blogging. Here's what you missed:
Sam is nearing 7 months. He typically sleeps well at night waking up once for a bottle around 2 am. Much better than the eating-ever-2-hours thing we did for a while. He shows little interest in eating, but will happily gum a teething cookie. His favorite pastimes include jumping in the jumparoo-thing, getting up on all 4s and rocking, and sliming his beloved sissy. He is by far the happiest baby I have ever met, smiling often and giggling easily. He is such a joyful addition to our family.
Millie is nearing 2 1/2. Faster than I would like. She is an absolute joy. She is a little sponge soaking up anything she hears or sees. She loves to look at books and have mama read to her for hours. She can sing about 15 songs, including "Jesus Loves Me," the ABC's, and "Away in a Manger." She can count to about 15 on a good day, and can recognize about half the alphabet. Yeah, I little bit proud of my girl.
My hip is mending great, won't be long before you'll find me taking to the streets on a run. Ok, that might be a long way coming still, but there is hope. I do physical therapy several times a week still.
That's all. That I can share. I have a secret though, and soon I'll be able to share. ;) So stay tuned!
